The Institute of Neurosciences of the UB receives the María de Maeztu award

The Institute of Neurosciences has been awarded the “María de Maeztu Units of Excellence Programme”. This programme acknowledges the research centres that demonstrate scientific leadership and impact at global level.

The evaluation and selection process is carried out by an independent international committee of prestigious scientists with high impact. The MdM grant aims to fund the respective strategic plans and programmes of the institutions, and to enhance and consolidate scientific capabilities, contributing towards international leadership.
