Research Interests

My research group is interested in the study of the molecular mechanisms of synaptic transmission.  We use a combination of molecular, cellular and in vivo approaches to investigate essential features on how information is processed in chemical synapses.

Current Research Lines

  • Synaptic transmission
  • Neuron-glia interactions
  • Synapse formation and elimination
